I come from parents who met while serving in the Army at Ft. Lee Virginis. 3 of my 4 brothers were military and I am a mother of an Army Vetran (Iraq) and an active Airman ( 3 tours in Iraq). How thankful we all should be to live in a counrty like America where we have choices because of our Armed Forces.

We so often forget that the sacrifices our military have done for us go on and on in their lives, while we go on blissfully unaware in our selfish states. Thank you so much for reminding me not only that my freedom and right to be was fought for by men and women I never knew, but that my debt to them is lifelong, not just a memo in history books.

Thank you for this awesome song/story.I like your dad is haunted by what I went through in Viet Nam. I have my Lillie and her name is Linda. She has helped me to overcome many of my past fears. Thanks for another wonderful update...your friendship poem is awesome. I enjoyed so much Ann's memories of Grandma Curfman, you can almost smell the flowers and see her sweet smile. What beautiful pages and poems, I loved them all so much. The video of your beach trip brought back so many wonderful memories of my time with you there. I can still feel the cool wind that blew against our faces as we enjoyed our time together. I will never forget that special day or the love and fun we shared.
I enjoyed the video of the little girl singing too. She is quite a performer and knows all the words so well to be so young. I hope she uses that God given talent over and over again.
