Lovely pages you have been sending to get us all into the spirit that is Christmas, the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Saviour. No matter what else we may do, the reason for this day is His birth and so sad that many simply see it as just a “holiday”. I often wonder – If they do not believe, why are they having a holiday at all? Christmas is a celebration of our Lord and to me the second most important date after Easter in the year. Yes we give gifts to each other at Christmas, but the greatest gift of all was the Father’s gift given to us when the Lord was born. The best gift we can share with someone who feels they have no need for Him in their lives is to lead them back to the presence of the Lord. Thank you for all the lovely Christmas pages you have sent, they are all very special from a number of mutual friends we have. To each and every one of you I say thank you and Merry Christmas.
