We've
much to be thankful for, Although there's
battle scars. We're still free, To worship
Thee.
 But our
freedom does cost so. It brings to families
such sorrow and woe. To send our young off to
war, To do battle that leaves such
scars.
 I will never
forget our vets Those who have met
death, Down through the ages. Others have
paid such heavy wages.
 We have
freedom in this land Because of their firm
stand. And so many are still far
away, As we pay honor on this Memorial Day.
 Please, lets
all of us, bow to our King, Giving Him thanks
for everything. Especially those who are over
there Ask for His protection, and His
care.
 My heart
does break, To think for my sake, They are
in harms' way, So I may be free today
Melva
 My deepest
thanks to all who have fought for our
freedom down through the ages. May God
always hold you close.
 Scripture:
Psalms
116~17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of
thanksgiving, and will call upon the name
of the Lord.
