There's a
part of me I don't allow others to see A
place where I can go To find a special
rainbow But there's another place Where I can
slow my pace Catch my breath again And I go
there with my pen All kinds of trips I take Even felt a
couple of earthquakes I awake to
different sounds Where sweet songbirds
abound Wonderful waterfalls I've seen Even visited
with the Queen Seen beautiful islands in the
sun And sack races kids have run
Ballgames in the
park I've chased fireflies in the
dark Crossed over many seas Always enjoying
the ocean breeze My pen and pad take me away With them I can
convey The places in my heart That I want to
share in part But there's a part of me I don't allow
others to see And that's where I can go To
find my special rainbow
