Oh Misty Moon

Oh misty moon how this surreal beauty
Keeps me in your spell
And blooms the passion where echoes
Of romance does surely dwell

So like a painting as by a master
Across his canvas lightly splashed
With hues and highlights of love a
And sentiment so grandly dashed

Misty moon why your enchantment
Comes seldom as if a dream
Like the faded backdrop in an
Italian opera it will in fancy seem

No greater magic then this moon
Through gossamer softly beaming
Its prisoner am I, shackled in bonded
Capture as if forever dreaming

Psalm 136: 9

The moon and stars to rule by night:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
