Our Hide-Away

Tucked neatly in pristine grandeur
Of purple majesty
Early morning songbirds sing
And sweetly beckon me.

Floral hues drape hills and veils
Caressing gentle slopes
Rock gates stand tall as if in watch
No entrance for our foes.

To this our hide-away we flee
From all the worldly cares
To pass the time in quiet reprieve
And keeps us safely there.

As evening draws us both inside
And daylight turns to dusk
Securely locked away with you
Complete within your trust.

Our love forever grows each day
As time slips swiftly by
Behind closed doors I see your smile
Im yours and you are mine.

Our hide-away is ours alone
Its there were free to be
Young lovers once again in time
Oh precious sweet retreat.
