When daily cares get you down
Think of Jesus that you found.
He took away your every sin,
On Him you always can depend.


Don't waste your thoughts on despair,
Have a talk with Jesus, He really cares.
And when you cry tears of sorrow,
Remember the tears are only borrowed.



In this old world of sin and shame,
When we worry and tend to blame.
Don't hold those things that hurt you so,
Kneel down and to the Savior go.


He will take them all away today,
If you will humble yourself and pray.
He loves to hear from you anytime,
And in your heart His light will shine.



He went to Calvary to take our place,
He died a horrible death in disgrace.
Tortured, bled, sacrificed and died,
So we can meet Him on the other side.


His eyes with tears were filled that day ,
When He saw the Father was turning away.
He cried tears of blood to set us free from fears,
And when we get home, He shall wipe away our tears.
