John 3: 16 ~ 17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.

No Measure

There is no way to measure
The depths of Jesus’ love.
We’ll have to wait for Heaven;
Explanation from above.

And, when you start the questions
Of why He had to die,
It was for love He hung there;
A love for you and I!

My sins were there, upon the Man
Who hung upon the tree.
I understand how Peter felt
When Jesus washed his feet.

For, I don’t want the part I have,
Contributing to His death.
Yet, if I choose to turn away,
How shall I ever rest?

The price was paid for you, for me;
The gift laid out to claim.
We are joint heirs and brothers
When we trust in Jesus’ name!
