My Heart Is Confused

Today my heart feels very heavy
As I look around and see,
People that claim to love Jesus
Fighting so bitterly.

What happened to Jesus Love,
And the fact that we should care
About the lost and dying world.
Somehow it's just not fair

Why is strife so quick to bloom
Instead of love today?
Why is it so easy to judge someone
Instead of stopping to pray?

Why is it so easy to gossip today
About someone you may not know?
How can we expect to win their soul
If our hearts are hard and cold?

When Jesus died upon that cross,
It was for all mankind.
Not just the rich and famous class
And the poor man left behind.

Let's let our hearts be as God does want
To win other souls for Him
And instead of bashing a child of God
Reach out and be a friend.
