Won't you come on in
We will have our tea
It's so sweet of you
To come and call on me

I always look forward
To your visits and our chats
We sit and sip
As we talk about this and that

We do enjoy each other
Always have it seems
And we've always shared
Our hopes and dreams

We've shed some tears
From time to time
Cause through our lives things
Hasn't always been so fine

Do you remember when
Casey got the Chicken Pox
And Julie just had to get her
That beautiful jewelry box?

Then there was the time that
Julie took a tumble on her bike
We rushed her to the doctor
She gave us quite a fright

We sat and cried together
The day my Dad was killed
You helped me through those days
My life you helped me to rebuild

And oh that awful day
When your Grandma Nora died
We just held on to each other
As we cried and cried

The very best days that I recall
Are the days we sat and read
From the Precious Word of God
As our spirits were being fed

I love that we taught our girls
From the time that they were small
That Jesus was their Savior
And on Him they could always call

So yes my Shy
Won't you come on in
We will have our tea
It's so very sweet of you
To come and call on me.
